About the Book

This book is not the usual run of the mill poetry. It is a thirty year project into my perception of the world staring in my teenage years.It is also dedicated to a wonderful lady who taught me some very special lessons in life but never learnt to handle her own troubles .It is a collection taken from about one hundred poems that I have written over the years and compiled under the theme " Identity of the Mind".My poetry gives us insight into the complexities of exploring how our minds work. It does not give the answers but raises a lot of questions about the world we live in.

About the Author

I am just an ordinary person in a ordinary life situation.But not everybody would think of it that way.I have lived a life where I have suffered from mental illness.But the real problem is not my mental illness.Its the hurdle I have with stigma that creates the real obstacles and the real issues associated with my ailment not the illness itself. This is a book about getting out there with my thoughts and opinions as I journey through thirty years of my life in poetry and hopefully be a part of the movement of social change to a greater understanding of how mental illness affects everybody in the community, not just me.
