About the Book

MARK’sISM blends social satire with personal psychology and ‘big picture’ philosophy. The book starts off with an overview of human biological & cultural evolution and the relationship of the human species and all organic life on our planet—[ themes include: FROM HOMINID TO HUMANOID; TERRESTRIAL EXTRAS; DIVERSITY IS NATURE’S ADAPTION; THROUGH THE EYES OF CULTURE etc]. The next section of the book takes a look at the interactions within our species in the form of social satire—[ themes include: THE SOCIAL SCENERY; THE BIG SMOKE; GRAB THE BULL BY THE HORNS; OFF TO THE OFFICE—> et al]. The next section deals with human issues from a personal perspective—[ themes include: A SMILE HAS STYLE; ACTION AND REFLECTION; MORTALITY; GOOD OLD GRANDPA; PUT THE ‘YOU’ INTO UNIQUE etc]. And the last section is a big picture overview and summary that wraps up the book—[ includes: WISDOM IS SPIRITUAL WEALTH; and GUIDER OF DESTINY].

About the Author

Mark Reif resides on the east coast of Australia where he has done most of his work and travel adventures. His background is in environmental science, landscape design, and retail sales. As well as writing, his other passions include world music, golf, and travel photography. He is currently working on two new books—MARK’s ISM Volume 2, and a fictional novel entitled: THE ADVENTURES OF IAN COGNITO.
