About the Book
A feel good book with a happy ending. Stella lives on a farm in the countryside, and she is tired of doing the same thing everyday - eating pig slop which the farmer calls food and lying around in the mud all day. Stella has big dreams and yearns for more in her life. She wants to fly and be a princess, for then she will be seen as beautiful. As Stella goes to sleep one night a magic unicorn visits her and grants Stella’s wish.
Not only does Stella get to fly with her own set of magic wings but she gets to meet a handsome prince who lives in a castle among the clouds. Through Stella’s adventure, she experiences many new things, but most importantly she discovers how to be a true friend and that you are unique and beautiful by being yourself. She realizes that displaying virtues such as compassion, empathy, generosity and kindness are traits that make you beautiful. Stella realizes it’s not about living in fancy castles or having the best of everything, it’s about how you love and care for other people…you don’t have to be a princess to be beautiful.
The Prince decides to go and live with Stella back on the farm with her and her family after he realizes that being with Stella is more important to him than his fancy castle and the things he owns, because he has no-one to share them with. Stella and Edmund start their new life together back on the farm in the countryside where, through Edmund eyes, Stella is a beautiful princess he gets to be with everyday.
