About the Book
I don’t think anything could have shaken Anna more than the sight of her dearest papa as he lay on the sofa with a white froth on his lips, his eyes open, staring; empty, dead and definitely not by natural causes. The day had started pretty much as usual, Anna took her papa his tea and toast in his bedroom, kissed his cheek saying “see you later, I’ll get dinner as soon as I’m home, ok!” “Yes, of course’ he replied “you have a good day, see you later,” and off she went. Anna had a pretty mundane job, in the post room of a small factory, which made parts for mobile phones and other bits and bobs for computers. To be honest Anna didn’t care what they made, she was happy to be working, and just got on with her job.
