About the Author

Salma Begum is a young British Muslim, living in the heart of Bradford, Yorkshire. U.K. She has studied at the University of Bradford, graduating with a B.A Honours in Sociology Social Psychology. Salma is also a qualified Nursery Nurse and has studied a course in Diploma in Youth Counselling as well as an AQA Advanced Counselling Course Skills with professional counselling practise. Salma currently supports teaching at the school she was once a student at her self – (Grange Technology College). Her role at the school is a Teaching Assistant as well as a tutor. Salma at a young age always enjoyed writing short stories and poetry. Her main influences are: her religion, which is Islam, her family, society, the community and her close friends.
