About the Book

Set in Warri, a region filled with wealthy multi-national oil corporations amidst tremendous poverty and soil pollution. Local activist, Apori is at crisis point in his marriage and is torn between making a drastic change for his people, at the expense of his wife Uwa. He is forced to decide where his priorities lie when American tabloid journalist, Karen Washington arrives in town. Eric is the idealistic British reporter shuttling between the UK and Nigeria, covering the latest local news in the area and interviewing leading political figures.

About the Author

Another Biafra is the thrilling debut from Anthony Abuah. It is humourous yet filled with historical facts on the Niger-Delta crisis and the Biafran war. The play premiered in London to critical acclaim in 2010 winning a Merit Award. It has since gone on stage as a three week run in 2011 at one of London's fringe theatres. The story is compelling and is sure to provide you with incite to the Niger-Delta and Nigerian politics.
