Time to Now

About the Book

Sitting here, thinking what i should write about what this book is about, or where the inspiration and emotions for these poems comes from, I am confl icted with the reality of the past 5 years of my live. How much of it should be said. How much should be world knowledge? Should the true origin of this love and the struggle of coming to grip with my own growth over this period be known or should it only be nice poems to read? Should it remain a mystery except for the few that were involved? Asking this question to myself so many times the answer has been clear all along, but now that the reality of it stares’ me in the face, I get faced with the one thing I have truly believed in all my live, is that you may think and feel what you want but when you act on it or say it, then it turns into reality, and for that matter then becomes the truth. And reality has an infl uence over other people, and has an effect on the self. These poems are a part of my live placed into rhymes. Though they are not all published here, they resemble the road that i have followed, the pain I have experienced, the emotional turmoil of a marriage that has failed, a love affair that had such a profound infl uence on every aspect of my being, the new future i am faced with now and an attempt to explain to myself and the three loves of my live the mystery of our separations from the THEN TO NOW. My story or the story in these rhymes is not unique to me and defi nitely not unique to the world. But I do think that the reader might fi nd understanding and be able to relate to many aspects of the rhymes, as I do not think that the loss of love and the acceptance of it are different to any of us on any level. I think that you will fi nd other words to express those unspeakable emotions, you will relate to a time gone by in a manner that might express it to some extend in an acceptable way.
