About the Author

Weston Gill has grown up in New Zealand around animals. Some of his very first words were “Moo” and “Cows”. His favorite books were a “Farm Animals” touch and feel book and an “ABC” book, both by DK Publishing. Both of these books contained real Photographs which acted like a magnet to him. Weston and his family live on a 5 acre lifestyle block near Te Kuiti “The Shearing Capital Of The World.” This rural town is famous for many things including “The Great NZ Muster” and “The Running Of The Sheep” and the “NZ Shearing Championships” which are held in March/April each year. Sir Colin Meads a famous All Black was also a Farmer and lives in Te Kuiti. The beautiful Waitomo Glow worm Caves are only minutes from Weston’s home. Through the support of Family, Friends and Brownie, Weston has had a taste of Farm Life and a hunger for more!
