In Secrets of a Good Mistress, I share my insights gained from walking the path of “the other woman”. It gives insights and shines a torch for the millions of women that knowingly or unknowingly have found themselves in this role to illuminate their way.

About the Author

Iva T. Louise was born in the Caribbean as the world engaged in World War II. And just as the war changed our political climate forever, her experiences from being a mistress for almost four decades challenge the commonly held view that being a mistress is settling for second best. Her writing style is fl avored with Caribbean spice and poetic verse and peppered with insights that may cause the reader to sit up and wonder what they just read. This book seeks to assert that in many ways it is far better to be a mistress and enjoy a lifestyle of freedom, self actualization, and joy than to become the wife. Iva currently divides her time between New York, London, and Jamaica. This is her fi rst book.
