Isa. 45:15 says "Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself..." Why would God hide himself? He did it, so that carnal minded man cannot access his awesome power until man´s heart is made pure again as it was before he fell into sin. In man´s present state, he would subvert the power of God and use it for selfish purposes. Only those whose hearts are converted, and who have returned to true Love are allowed access to the fullness of the power of God. "The Awakening of Adam" is about man´s perpetual quest for Truth, and for eternal life. It reveals some of the hindrances that have kept the children of God in darkness, thereby hiding the truth of their true identity. The children of God will eventually become as their Father, when their hearts are made pure. That is what children do, isn´t it? Do they not become equal to their parents? When a boy grows to adulthood and unto perfection, he is just as much a man as his father, or if it is a daughter, she is just as much a woman as her mother. Both of them (the boy and the girl) become able to creat life, i.e., they can produce children of their own, just as their father and mother once did. 1st John 4:17 says: "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." Philippians 2:5 and 6 says: "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God." 1st. Cor. 2:15 and 16 says: "But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? About the Author

Charles Herschel Dove was born June 3, 1937; in Martin County, Kentucky. He began writing at the ripe old age of thirteen. His first effort was a poem about shooting his first rabbit, with many songs and poems following. Nothing was ever published: Heck! Who had that kind of money back in “them thar hills?” “The awakening of Adam” is Mr. Dove’s first publication, and he says that he is extremely happy, that the God of Love was willing to choose someone as little and unimportant in the eyes of this world as he is, and reveal to him, secrets of God’s kingdom that have been hidden to the world, but now, is being made known to his chosen ones. Mr. Dove’s book will not be well received in today’s churches, for as Jesus said, he came to send a sword on earth, not peace. Mat. 10:34.
