About the Author

Born in 1950, Mr. Nichols grew up in Arizona. He studied psychology and philosophy as an undergraduate and did graduate work in theoretical linguistics at Ohio State University and the University of Arizona where he received an M.A. He has taught college courses, served as a naval intelligence officer and worked as a technical specialist for NASA and various government agencies that avoid publicity. He is married and has two children.
