About the Book

Whether you are looking for a laugh to brighten up your day,  or some attention brought to light on serious issues,  or romantic poetry,  Whispers Of The Earth will suit your fancy.  I have attempted to provide a humorous outlook towards many of life's events. Additionally,  there are some nonsense poems which will also bring a smile to many readers. The majority of the poems within the covers of my book were written in a matter of 5 minutes or less,  and are a reflection of my writer's nickname of Rapid-Fire.  This uncanny ability of coming up with traditional rhyming poetry on any subject within just a few minutes has lead to many poetry demonstrations as well as an enormous amount of fun.  I hope that you enjoy reading my poetry and that it will help to brighten up your day.

About the Author

Jim began writing poetry at the age of 17, for 33 years his writing was exclusively for his bride/wife. At that point, she encouraged him to go public and he has been published in many U.S. magazines. He became known as "Rapid-Fire" – a title bestowed upon him by the local school children based on his ability to provide traditional rhyming poetry in just a few minutes on any subject/title of their choice. His "Rapid-Fire" demonstrations were soon in demand around the local area. He also publishes a semi-monthly poetry magazette titled WRITE ON!! Poetry Magazette of the writing of poets from all over the world.
