About the Book

Revelations is a novel that compels its readers to find the hypocrisy that lies dormant in us all.  In the sleepy, all-American town of Dryver County one man seeks to expose the perverse emotions that remain subtly hidden in each of its inhabitants.  Just as God created the universe in 7 days, so does this man take one week to destroy the seemingly tight knit community.  The days become increasingly thought provoking as the audience must wince at the actions taken by the characters as their lives are systematically torn apart.  The events trigger responses that appear extreme, but make the reader question whether he would not do the same.  Through an intricate web of unexpected twists and turns that leave the audience of Revelations gasping for breath, an understanding emerges of ourselves and the fragileness of the borders we set up that dictate our reactions.

About the Author

J. P. Alexander’s story is nothing more than two people sharing a common vision and with this vision came the story Revelations. We are average people looking for the significance and the truth of life, hoping to find the extraordinary hidden within our mundane lives. We are young men armed with words struggling to find out who we are and Revelations is our effort to open the door to our soul. Revelations shows the desire we possess to awaken a dream dormant inside everyone. There are very few that dare venture out to follow their hearts to fulfill their dreams. We have taken the risk to follow our hearts and through this novel we have turned our reality into a dream. The reality being us, Jeffery Paul Soto and Paul Kenneth Laflamme, and the dream being J. P. Alexander.
