About the Book
Noelle Carter’s life is being altered. She feels like she hasn’t any control over her parent’s divorce. She feels like her brother and her have become some part of a to do list then a part of a family. She knew that her parent’s were going to eventually split up, but she didn’t expect it to hurt her the way that it did. She also didn’t expect the blow her Mother was about to deliver. Her Mom decided to take a job and move to another state. Noelle is left with the decision between staying with her Dad in the town she grew up in, or moving with her Mom to a place she doesn’t know any one. Noelle decides to move with her Mom to her Aunt and Uncle’s home in Oregon.
She is surprised to find a best friend in her cousin Ashley. She is also happy to find that her Mother is giving her more freedom then ever before. The most pleasant surprise is meeting Tyler. Tyler looks like he stepped out of a pinup calendar. His almond shaped chocolate eyes were the sexiest thing Noelle had ever seen. Boys at her old school did not look like Tyler. Tyler is as charming as he is good looking. Noelle doesn’t find it hard to fall in love with him.
This love story turns sour when Noelle discovers that she is pregnant. She also starts to see the not so charming side of Tyler.
Feeling very alone with this pregnancy she isn’t sure what she should do. When Noelle is positive the no one understands what she is going through, she finds that there are people on her side. Her Aunt tells her, “I know you’re whole world has been turned upside down. You’ve lost some pretty important people in your life. With your parent’s divorce and moving here you’ve had a lot to deal with. I’ve heard Tyler’s not exactly being a gentleman about this.” “Despite all this awful stuff you do have a support team here. Having a baby is a huge responsibility. Doing it at sixteen makes it even bigger. But, you’re not alone in this.”
