About the Book
There are a lot of things about this universe that we, the human race, know little to nothing about. Take, for instance, the fact that we’ve been visited by extraterrestrials since as early as the thirteen-hundreds, or that Pluto’s sole moon, Charon, is indeed an entirely artificial construct of these same beings. Oh, yeah, “the grays,” you might say. Well, no, they came later -- and when they’re not talking to us, they refer to themselves as “faque”. Who are these others, though? That’s an interesting question. You might say the others are our long lost cousins -- but then that’s getting a little ahead of the story. For now, you can call them “vakir”.
Throughout hundreds of star systems, these vakir have laid down their roots with colonies and mines, creating one of the largest civilizations our galaxy has seen in recent millennia. When they came upon Earth, they saw it as a precious gem in need of protection -- that and a wonderful research opportunity. Unfortunately, it soon came to pass that they were the ones in need of protection, first from an army of perverse imperialistic reptiles, and second from the ominous planet-crushing tristari.
How do the grays fit into all of this, though? Well, you’ll just have to order the book. It’s a great read, full of thrills, intrigue, adventure, hi-tech violence, and a little megalomaniacal ball of alien goo. There are also enough surprises, plot twists, and generally weird things in this book, that I can get away with telling you that Loush doesn’t stay a man forever.

About the Author
David R. Snider is a networking specialist with an over-active imagination, living somewhere between the District of Columbia and a parallel universe where there are no lawyers. He sports half a degree in physics from Ithaca College and a Ph.D. in gaming (or, rather, he would if such a thing existed). From a very early age, David has held a strong fascination with the genres of science-fiction and fantasy, whether they be in books, on TV, in the movies, or in a computer game. His single greatest passion in life is to create science-fiction and fantasy worlds of his own, and through them, share his fascination with others. He also likes cheese.
