About the Book

Haunted tells the story of a woman who is murdered in her home and discovers that her spirit is trapped in the house. The book covers the span of seventeen years during which she has to come to terms with this plight. She is tormented by regrets from the past and angry at the present. She paces between the walls of her home - sometimes empty, sometimes filled with people – chasing her demons and questioning her faith. Over time she begins to let go of some of her selfishness, anger and blame and replaces these things with compassion and understanding. She gets the opportunity to play a role in the lives of a few people and it is through these people that she achieves new awareness. It is a story of overcoming adversity. It contains a bit of strong language, humor and a lot of imagination.

Kristin Sims lives in Norman Oklahoma with her husband. This is the first of two novels she has written.
