About the Book
THE CIRCLE AT THE TOP is based on true events but reads like fiction. It is the story of a disillusioned teacher who returns to her moorings for a much-needed sabbatical only to be thrust into a world of violence and betrayal. Activists attack the family farm, opening the gates to economic disaster, treachery, and personal heartbreak. In trying to find answers to subsequent doubt and anguish, Cori Jorrell begins a spiritual journey that takes her from the mountains of Oregon, to the world of international trade in New York, to a Canadian hideaway and more "escape" than she bargains for, to Phoenix and a life that leaves her as empty as an Arizona desert. It is a journey filled with detours and pitfalls until she discovers a long-awaited promise in her circle at the top, a miracle that is only a belief away.
