"Lisa's investigation of her sister's murder is compelling and riveting. I read from page to page with anticipation. Amongst the great scenery, there is an edge of your seat kind of story, frightening but not gory. The characters are well drawn. It was an enjoyable read."

About the Author
Lucile Domon and Rose Jewett are sisters who are drawn to mystery and have always been fascinated by the great outdoors. Growing up in a family of avid readers, their desire to see their own stories in book form became their dream. Daily reading is still an important part of their lives. Both have delighted in reading mystery romances since their early teens, so writing them is a natural outcome of this continued interest. The authors write, travel and explore together. They draw inspiration for their stories from places they visit as they enjoy the enchantingly beautiful Pacific Northwest. Each lives in Washington and treasures time spent with her husband and family. Some of their favorite activities include listening for and to the sounds of nature. They enjoy all natural settings including mountains, wooded areas, streams, rivers, oceans and beaches. Even settings that some could find to be less than satisfying, such as mile after mile of wheat fields or large expanses of sagebrush dotted hillsides provide habitat for beloved birds, animals and other living things they treasure. Their linkage to the environment is a large part of their lives. One part of writing is imaginatively taking on the role of each character as his or her personality blossoms. They played let's pretend from the time they were small and their role playing progressed naturally into plot and character development. Writing forces the author to see things from various viewpoints because each character within a novel is as diverse and unique as each of us. Time spent in British Columbia during research and writing of As The Mountains Whisper left them both with wonderful, meaningful memories of the area and the friendly people who live and play there. The scenery is some of the most incredible in the world. The authors' love of mystery and the beautiful setting inspired motivation for this book about "MURDER IN BRITISH COLUMBIA. After her sister's mysterious death, Lisa Warner goes in search of answers in hope that she will find something the police can't. Worried that the man who had threatened and killed her sister might now come after her, Lisa becomes very suspicious of everyone. Especially the handsome stranger next door. Suddenly Lisa finds herself plagued with many questions: Why is the killer obsessed with Lisa and her sister? Are the twins her aunt put up for adoption linked to the murder? Why does she feel so weak in the knees when she's around her new neighbor? Should she trust her feelings of possible love, or is he the killer? Whom can she trust?" ---Deborah Nantz, Carrollton, GA
