It was a time period where most of my younger memories were of the turmoils of the world: the Kennedy assassination, the Vietnam War, the Gas shortage years. These were peripheral to my childhood. These were different times indeed... compared to all the modern family has to engage in today. After serving in the military, U.S. Navy, as an Electronic Warfare Operator, I used the G.I. Bill for college... Food Service Management my Major. If I would have gone on to the B.A. level... Journalism would have been my minor. The last thing I thought I would do is write a book of Poetry... but I'd encourage any with this endeavor on heart and mind to do. This book is an offering of hope... an offering I do believe we can all use, the need so apparent.
