About the Book

Have you ever struggled with emotions so strong you thought you would cough your heart up into your throat and choke to death? Have you ever been so close to death that its flames singed your eyelashes and its ghostly smoke coated your clothes with the smell of terror? Have you ever pondered the meaning to life and then actually found an answer? You will do all of this and more in The Last 30 Seconds.

Just as fate led Franki Marinari (the heroine) to flying, it too would lead her life on a journey filled with adventure, tragedy, chance and circumstance. Franki is a young, successful, independent woman who must come to terms with life, mortality, and faith.

She enjoys an exciting job and the love of close friends and family, and she is secure in herself and the world around her until the unthinkable starts to happen. The very threads that bind her life together, that define her childhood and the woman she has become, begin to rip, tearing away at the seams of her being. All that was stable and secure is now in question.
