About the Book

Lying for a Living is a novel about a top notch barber who is also a preacher and womanizer. Pierce Thurgood II loves women and enjoys playing with their emotions as he uses them for personal gain, while selling them pipe dreams. He plays three completely dissimilar types of women in a tangled web of deceit, promising each one his hand in marriage, Milam Marshall, Monet Sinclair, and Faith Richards. The whole time he’s committing adultery because he’s already married to Connie Thurgood. Pierce Thurgood II is smart and cunning until he meets Monet Sinclair and what’s done in the dark comes to light for these three women and his Senior Pastor.

LaNard Morrison is a Father, Barber, Poet, Author, Entrepreneur, and Founder of Nardo Entertainment. He is the second eldest child of the three. Who goes by the poet name Tone. S. Lynn Bryant is a Mother, Author, Poet, Entrepreneur, Socialite, Radio and TV Host. She is the Eldest of the three and goes by the poet name Freed’m. All three siblings live in Houston, Texas. They all feel blessed to come from a loving and talented family. They give God all the glory as they practice to live a life of gratitude.
