About the Author

Katherine Shuck is a confirmed bookaholic who loves reading as much as writing. She has been an amateur critic of romance novels for more than twenty years. Although she has a degree in business communications, she’s always been fascinated by history. Writing about the past gives her a chance to experience days gone by. She enjoys creating her own fictional characters and placing them in history. Born Katherine M. Kaump, a Spokane, Washington native, she now makes her home in Southern California with her husband, Brian, their foster children, and several tropical fish. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, movies, gardening, cooking and browsing around in antique shops. She is currently hard at work on another novel.
