About the Book

This book is about young man who is forced to leave home and while making his way west, he encounters Indians and gunfighters.  This book is based partly on family history and personal experiences.

About the Author

Arleigh Gene Womack. Born March 25, 1937 in Smackover, Arkansas. Spent over twenty years in the navy, to which he used his diving expertise in underwater exploration and salvage. He also is an engineer and has worked in the space program at Cape Canaveral. He currently resides in Camden, Arkansas.
