About the Book
"Compassion" is a perceptive work that offers candid discussions on the virtues of compassion, kindness and charity. It presents vignettes that recount acts of compassion, stories that portray empathy, caring and understanding, quotations and references to spiritual wisdom. The focus of the book is to show how our compassion for each other is as necessary as love itself.
About the Author
Dr. Dan Coman is an immunologist and a writer. He has written over thirty-five scientific and technical papers. Two of his published books are "Quality is the Challenge" and "Excellence and Quality". He has written a musical play and is currently working on a dramatic composition. Several of his poems and lyrics have been published and recorded. He also has received honors for his photography of flowers and natural scenery.
Dr. Coman is actively involved in volunteer work for the Princeton nursing and rehabilitation homes, the community fire department and feeding the homeless and hungry.
He and his wife reside in the Princeton suburbs.
