About the Book

Celeste is a fiery spirited redhead with ambitions of making a name for herself in the fashion industry. Escaping a painful childhood and attempting to bury her past mistakes, she moves to Los Angeles, and ultimately builds a prosperous and lucrative modeling agency with clientele from all over the globe.  Known as the Iron Lady, she is hardheaded and driven; she lives up to her reputation.  She has everything a woman could want – except love.  She drove away the only man she ever cared for, and she paid the price. After a long-term love affair turns sour, and in the eye of a mid-life crisis, Celeste finds herself on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  She is forced to face reality head on and doesn’t like what she sees.  With skeletons in her closet, she finds herself reevaluating the choices she made, and confronting a past which comes back to haunt her.

About the Author

Madison currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has been writing poetry and short stories since she was a child. She had brief notoriety at the age of nine when a local newspaper published one of her short stories. High Stakes is her first completed work, a drama about the high price of success. She is hard at work on her next novel, Mistress of Souls. In her spare time, Madison loves to take photographs and catch up on her reading. Her two favorite authors are Tami Hoag and Anne Rice.
