With all of the drama in the world today, sometimes it’s nice to escape for a while and read a story that just makes you feel good. Something interesting that touches your heart. This book is about friendship, love, learning from the things around you, and how when they come together…sometimes the effect can be so great that it inspires you to follow dreams that you never thought were possible.

About the Author

I was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama. It’s a quaint little city located right on the Tennessee River. I come from a family of six consisting of my mom, dad, younger sister and younger twin brothers. I’m shy by nature, but once you get to know me, it’s hard to get me to stop talking. I love to eat good home southern cookin’ like fried chicken, baked mac and cheese, green beans fresh from the garden, homemade buttermilk cornbread and a tall refreshing glass of sweet tea! Whew! I’m getting hungry just talking about it! Not only do I love to eat traditional southern foods, but I also like to regularly have people over to my house so I can personally cook some of my favorites for them full of flavor and love.
