About the Author
Anne R. von Helf lives in hill country, east of Los Angeles, on a small rural ranch where she raises horses and dogs. She’s a writer, a teacher, with an M.A. in history from U.C.L.A., a seascape painter...water-colorist of the Pacific. A native of Michigan, her roots are in New England. Her interests are as wide as her geographical background. Amateur anthropologist, tournament Bridge expert, her family live near and share her enthusiasms. Her daughter and son are both education Administrators, the rest of the family are attorneys or teachers. Persistent and meticulous, she’s a thorough researcher.
