About the Book
"605 and Other Places" is a collection of stories about a depression-poor, very religious, motherless family consisting of three sisters, a father, grandmother, and a legalistic, domineering aunt. The stories, told by the youngest sister, are filled with humor and pathos. They pull back the curtain and let you see into a young heart. Some of the stories are hilarious, and others will make you cry.
