Jackie Jenkins, an adventurous Canadian hockey player, is recruited to play in the 1934/35 season for the Wembley Lions of the British Professional Hockey League where his exceptional hockey skills earn him a berth with England's 1936 Olympic squad. While in Germany he accidentally runs into a young woman fleeing from the Gestapo. "Adolph Who?" is a fast-paced story of the tough gutsy young man who almost single-handedly leads England to the first gold medal while risking his life to save the girl he loves from capture by the dreaded Gestapo during a perilous, danger filled escape to freedom.
About the Author
Kenny Reeves was born in Wales in 1927, immigrating to Canada at 3 months. Living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, he, like most Canadian boys, played a lot of minor hockey. Kenny eventually played hockey professionally for England and traveled all over Europe, enjoying the game he loved. When not playing hockey, Kenny spent time as an oil-field roughneck, a shipyard worker, a jazz drummer and a firefighter lieutenant. He and his wife, Lorea, lived in British Columbia during the summers and the winters in Arizona. A father of 5, he has 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters.
