About the Author

Gayle was born into an era where the social life revolved around the family meals. Her recipes come from friends, family and imagination. As a young woman she moved to San Francisco to pursue a career, where, as a single mother, she married a widower with four children. Five years ago she moved to Houston, and she and her husband could no longer host the traditional get-togethers. So Gayle wrote “the book”(Gayle’s Legacy) enabling the traditions to continue, albeit, with other people now hosting the meals. Gayle, now retired from business, spends her time traveling, writing, potting, reading and cooking.
