About the Book

A terrorist campaign against IsraelÕs major population centers galvanizes the Israeli government to discover and shut off the funding to Hamas, a Palestine  terrorist group. An investigation by Mossad, the Israeli  intelligence service uncovers evidence of involvement with the terrorists on the part of high American government officials.

Dr. Hillel Samuel Greene, a Baltimore psychiatrist, is consulted by an agent of the United States Secret Service for treatment of anxiety attacks which develop when the agent stumbles onto evidence of complicity of high American government officials in the terrorist activities of Hamas. When the Secret Service agent is killed

and Dr. GreeneÕs office is burglarized, the psychiatrist becomes alarmed and consults a Baltimore homicide detective who was a former patient and now a friend.

As this frightening scenario is unfolding, Greene meets and falls in love with a beautiful young woman, a talented cellist, who has recently joined the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. GreeneÕs feelings seem to be reciprocated by Sofia, the young  musician, who then accompanies him on a trip to Southwest Florida in search of a retired banker, who might be able to shed more light on the money pipeline used by the Terrorist organization.

After the bankerÕs apparent suicide, and two unsuccessful attempts on GreeneÕs life, he returns to Baltimore to seek help from a friend who is now a Congressman and Chairman of the House Banking Committee. Sofia has disappeared, leaving Greene distraught and worried for her safety.  When the Syrian Intelligence Service and the Mossad both become more actively involved in events, the action becomes explosive, culminating in a series of disclosures that rock the country.

Greene journeys to Israel in search of Sofia and what he learns there forever changes his life.
