About the Book

A beautiful marriage of words and paintings: the poetry stimulates the mind and the works of art delight the eye. Judy and Ross Young have used their chosen mediums to communicate some of their personal and shared experiences. If you appreciate fine poetry and fine art you must add this little gem to your library.

--Ben Pendleton – Pendleton’s American Fine Art and Books

Poetry & Paint is a handsome book that unapologetically targets the eyes and ears of its audience in romantic fashion, using words and pictures to evoke feeling in a well-balanced match-up of one medium with the other. Feeling is everything, the poems say and the pictures show. What a pleasant experience it is to be told again that the way to our hearts is through beauty! The Youngs are talented guides on this way.

--Tom Padgett, Chancellor of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies
