About the Author

Yerachmiel Bratt is a Gabbai in the Agudath Israel of Madison in Brooklyn where he lives with his wife, Meryl and their four children – Yitzy, Shua, Chani and Shira. For over a decade he has been privileged to announce the molad (new moon) on the Sabbaths preceding the New Moon in Synagogue. He is the Associate Court Attorney to Judge Arthur M. Schack, a Civil Court Judge sitting in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated the Yeshiva of Flatbush, Yeshiva College and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
