About the Book
Rebekah’s family lived in the most elegant house on Waterloo Road, in suburban Kingston. It was a two-story house with wide covered verandas. At each end of the veranda on the second floor was a quadron-shaped turret.
Rebekah’s father owned and operated a fabric store in downtown Kingston. Her mother, a short stout lady, with very long brunette hair stayed home with Rebekah’s younger brothers: David, then eleven, Allan ten, and Richard five years old. Rebekah also had two older sisters: Veronica and Nancy, both blonde and beautiful, the Betty Grable type, who were going out with American flight officers stationed at the Sandy Gully Air Base, not very far from Kingston.
