About the Book

Evil and Eden is a story about a psychologist working in a public services agency in Hawaii. By way of a casual conversation that doesn’t quite ring true, he learns of a missing elementary school teacher. The more he learns of the missing man, the more his curiosity is aroused. As time allows, he begins to poke into the case, eventually discovering the remains of the man that point to an obvious homicide. With the blessings of an overworked police department, he continues uncovering clue after clue, revealing a complex homicide involving sex, university grant money and intellectual property rights. All the while, he continues his everyday work as a psychologist, introducing the reader to some fascinating characters along the way. As a counter point to the darker elements of the story, we have the almost overwhelming beauty of the Hawaiian setting and a new love that comes into our hero’s life.
