About the Book
My poetry writing has been inspired by the beauty of the outdoors, the trials of life, and of course “love”. I was probably fourteen when I fell head over heels for Kim. I haven't seen her in years and she's long since married, but there's still a place in my heart for her, and always will be. My mom, dad, brother, friends and relatives have all encouraged me to keep writing and put together a book. I thank you all. The first poem in my book is a favorite of mine that was written by my grandfather to my grandmother. He wrote beautiful poetry for years but didn’t save his writings until he was in his seventies.
About the Author
I grew up in the country, in Leesburg PA. Beautiful Leesburg Falls was my old stomping ground. The woods and waterfalls of the area helped to inspire my writing. I graduated in 1993 from Grove City High School where I spent some time on the Wrestling Team and also on the Golf Team. I still love to golf and go as often as I get the chance. Currently, I live outside of Butler, Pennsylvania, again in a beautiful, peaceful wooded area. I write everyday and also sketch. I’ve included some of my sketches in my book.
