About the Author

A Mississippi Native- My parents passed away when I was quite young. Ant Julia, my mother’s sister, her husband, Uncle William became my new parents and guardians. A position they held for the rest of their life. They were farmers. I grew into an adult while living on the farm, helping with the farm chores when and where I was needed. I am a high school graduate from several decades past. Mother, of one son Lincoln, who has promised me, if I wrote a book, completed it, and had it published he would be my first customer. It will be my greatest joy to look into his eyes, remind him of that promise made by him so long ago while I am saying “The book is ready to go on sale, son.”
