About the Book

DJANGO & DJUNA are an alluring yet insular brother and sister, twins who share an abnormal passion and paranormal empathy. As spoiled but neglected teen truants suspected of incest, they are given get-lost money by their Main Line mother and become jumbo-jet gypsies, their forwarded remittances supplemented by dubious scams and illicit dabblings. The cool and beautiful twins are involved with beach bums and sexual swapping in India, drug smuggling in Istanbul, porn films and cosmopolites in Paris, a white slavery ring in New York, drag queens and "dream-truth" researchers in Berkeley, a mystical dominatrix in Cairo and retarded rich kids on Crete, Santeria cultists in Puerto Rico (voodoo orgy included), and a psychic surgeon in the Philippines who, in curing their identical brain tumors,  breaks their very special bond. Abruptly alienated, Django & Djuna cannot face life together or apart.

With the narrative drive of pulp fiction,  a quirky literary edge, and an underpinning of mythic tragedy, DJANGO & DJUNA is the "Lit. hit" Sleeper of the Year.

About the Author

Jon Horn is the author of THE TRIPPERS, HIP CAT, and two "cult classics sans cult" published by the Olympia Press.
