About the Author

Vergia Kemp-Blackmon, Ph. D completed her dissertation on Perceived Experience of Discrimination in the Military and it’s Effect on Self-Esteem. She currently works with the severely mentally ill population and does some private practice work. She lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with her family. Rhonda Scott, M.A. completed her Master’s Thesis on The Merging of the Masculine and Feminine Sides of the Self: A Case Study in Love Addiction and the Spirituality of Gender. She currently does psychotherapy with Special Education Children and their families. She lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with her family.
