Since she is not able to continue her work by using Braille, she now writes books on the subject. Mrs. Betz is the mother of ten children, and helped raise her 8-year-old twin brothers when their mother died; and a 10-year-old sister-in-law after both her parents passed away. Therefore, she says she had her “baker’s dozen.” She is the grandmother of twelve, and the great-grandmother of two. She received her Master’s Degree from the International Grapho-analysis Society in Chicago, IL, and was a charter member of the World Association of Document Examiners, and a charter member of the National Association of Document Examiners.
