The Sleeping Stranger is a novel yet within its pages are experiences from the author’s life. These experiences are shared by two characters. Hope is the abused housewife who finally makes her escape. Mary is a free-spirit who discovers that she needn’t give herself away to be loved. Hope finds herself in the Realm of the Gods. Mary finds herself in the arms of one. Classic themes of self discovery, reinvention, liberation, and spiritual connection fill the pages. Penny spins the age-old myths to give the reader a new perspective. The Sleeping Stranger truly is a myth for our time.

About the Author

Penny Stoner lives in Taos, New Mexico and is madly in love with life, her husband Steve, and her son James. She works in alternative healing and utilizes the playfulness of Loki energy for inspiration in her talks and in her writing.
