About the Author

Howard B. Capponi is a respected authority in the field of Fine Art and an accredited Appraiser. The author attended London University where his studies included both European & American 19th/20th century painting. Following military service with an armored cavalry regiment in Europe he served as director to a prominent Fine Art Gallery in London. This led an internationally based publishing company to offer him a directorship with a leading New York Gallery. Subsequently in the 1980’s as marketing director to an established Chicago gallery amongst the many shows he curated two were major exhibitions of James M. Sessions work. Currently Vestinart.com his own consulting business focuses primarily on European and American Fine Art Paintings and Master Prints.
