About the Author

My name is Patricia Peterson. I was born in Miami, Florida. In school I attended South Beach Elementary and St. Patrick’s school. After school I attended the Park’s Program, and won awards in many sports including state championships. After graduating I attended Miami-Dade Jr. College and the University of Florida with a B.A.E. Degree in Education. When recertifying I attended University of Miami, Barry College, and Florida International University. I taught kindergarten to 6th grade. Now after 45 years of teaching and 40 years with U.T.D, I retired in 2011 and will have the time to continue my writing.
