About the Author

Shanell Busby was born on the island of Barbados, the West Indies. She moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1992 where she attended high school. Graduating from Bridgewater College in Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, she currently holds a nursing license in the state of New York.
