About the Author
Dr. Monica A. Coffey is a certified Library Media Specialist in the state of Missouri. She received her B.A. in history, along with secondary school teacher certification from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. Her Masters in Library Science is from the University of Missouri at Columbia, and her Ph.D. in post-secondary education is from Saint Louis University. She has work experience in both the collegiate, and school library environments. She is currently employed as a high school media specialist.
