About the Book

In His Hands is based on the true story of Katey Tisdale, a miracle baby born with a neural tube defect (encephalocele). Through her eyes we see insights into how she feels and responds to the world around her. The faith in Jesus and unconditional love of her family make Katey’s life full and happy. Doctors said she wouldn’t be able to live with part of her brain stem outside of her skull. But Katey proves throughout this inspiring and uplifting story that miracles still exist and that God is always in control. She stays in His hands.

About the Author

Marian Jordan, Katey’s Anma, is a retired elementary school teacher. She babysat Katey and grew very close to her. She was inspired to share Katey’s story with you because she knew it was part of God’s purpose for Katey. She currently substitute teaches and spends time with her husband of forty years. They enjoy traveling and sharing the good news of Jesus with others. She also loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She is active in her church and has a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
