About the Book
Worship is the gathering of a community to hear truth. Stories are a vehicle for this truth. In worship, we encounter the story of salvation. We discover our place in the story.
Storytelling was a way that Jesus helped people find their place. He invited them into the community of God. His multitude of parables illustrated abstract ideas through picture language. Stories set us free from dogma and doctrine.
The Bull Ridin' Preacher is a collection of stories appropriate for the worship experience. They are stories of truth because they see the world as it is and as it can become.
