About the Book
Just Another Girl is my book of memories. Included are stories of friends and their families who were close to me during my early years. Also included is a brief history of the Livingstons and the Thompsons. I have written profiles pf my mother and daddy, my four sisters, my husband, my three children and my seven grandchildren. My main objective for writing this book of memories was to share some of my childhood stories with my grandchildren and perhaps to help them understand the sensitiveness of simple lives and ordinary struggles people faced during the Great Depression, WWII, and the years that followed.
