The map of the island is incomplete, and that’s all the reason Ty, Chet, and Erin need to begin exploring. Polithia is the name of what had been Lithium’s world, and now it is a forgotten land of fantasy where griffins are befriended, the Mer haunt the sea, and tales are spun of the powers of a unicorn’s horn and the mysteries of Lithium’s daughter. With no way of turning back, the young wanderers are fortunate to meet a boy ruler in search of the magic within himself who feels destined to help them home. But it is the same promises of Time that lead Ty and his friends into the middle of a dangerous clash of magic and prophecy, a quarrel that could mean the end of Polithia—and the end of the explorers’ chance to rediscover their own home.

About the Author

Colin Meldrum’s discovery of Magicia was inevitable; stories have been the medium for his worlds for as long as he can remember. Everything distant and different inspires his imagination, including his family trips to unique landscapes and music of other lands and times. He enjoys art, reading, Scouting, camping, hiking, and the outdoors in general, and sees a story within each of nature’s details. He, his parents, and his five brothers live in Idaho.
