About the Author

Douglas Myers, an outdoorsman and man of letters, was born on April 7, 1974 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended Florida State University, studied in London, and moved to Los Angeles after graduation. There he studied acting and started writing. L.A. was an adventure. And so were the jobs. Shipping clerk, valet, waiter, curator, movie extra, and numerous other resume gems. In the spring of 2001 he packed his bags and headed East. The interstate ended in Wilmington, North Carolina and that’s where he currently resides. His website is www.douglasmyers.net.
